HF Innovation was delighted to welcome Lee Nestor from SciMed Ltd – our partner and UK distributor – to our facilities in Horstel this week.
Lee joined us for hands-on training in working with our Cobot systems and it’s always a pleasure to share our experience with partners in person.
Over the years, we have built up real, practical experience with human-robot collaboration. Unlike static, caged industrial robots, Cobots work alongside their operators in a shared workspace – sometimes with their movement guided by hand.
The system continuously monitors force, speed, power and positioning and can trigger a protective stop if a defined limit is exceeded. Depending on the application and following a proper risk assessment, Cobots can operate without a safety cage.
