Bringing Industrial Automation to Your Laboratory!
The Future of Laboratory Automation – Join the HF RoboRevolution
HF’s automated system for oil and coolant sample testing transforms laboratory operations by automating repetitive and labor-intensive tasks. By automating mixing, bottle handling, pipetting, and dispensing, this system significantly reduces manual effort, enhances safety, and delivers exceptional precision and throughput.

How It Works
Trays of sample bottles are loaded into the system, where they are automatically registered. A Cartesian robot transfers the bottles to a mixing station, ensuring thorough sample homogenization and ultrasonic degassing to eliminate air bubbles.
After degassing, the bottles are automatically decapped, and the RoboPipette 6 extracts precise aliquots for various tests. One aliquot is delivered to a particle counter based on the Light Extinction Principle. This cutting-edge system analyzes particles by detecting shadows cast on a photodetector as a light beam passes through the liquid.
The system determines the size and number of particles in various size classes, providing particle concentration and cleanliness class standards per ISO requirements. Another aliquot is sent to the density meter for accurate measurement.
Additional aliquots are dispensed into dedicated containers for further analyses, including ICP, FTIR, viscometry, GC, or other operator-required tests. Optional automated modules can enhance the system with capabilities like color and turbidity determination, crackle testing and integrated analysis of viscosity and FTIR.
